Certainty can be defined as either
1. Knowledge totally free of any possible error, or
2. A mental state of being without doubt.
Objectively defined, certainty about something can only exist if no scepticism can occur.
Mathematics, physics and philosophy have all sought this state. Religion knows that it has found it.
This video explores the foundation of certainty and leaves a couple of questions for you to answer for yourself.
ATTENTION SPAN WARNING- not for flibbertigibbets or those who don't want to devote 10 minutes to concentrating on, at least to me, a centrally important intellectual question.
BTW
Double-blind research to see if intercessionary prayer really works was undertaken at Duke University Medical Centre in 2003. See: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/319...
