Pasargad is being handed over to the private sector!

This is the 65th program of a series produced in Persian language called "In the Realm of Culture" (Dar Pishgaah e Farhang) in Persian. Here, Ms. Shokooh Mirzadegi talks to Dr. Esmail Nooriala, introducing 1986's best women and men of the year and discloses a plot to hand over the ancient site of Pasargad to the private sector for tourism and entertainment purposes. This is a big blow to the Persian identity that should not be let happen in silence.



The last Clamour of Pasargad and Bolaghi (Akharin Faryad)

This is a documentary made by Mohammad and Negar Salehizadeh. It depicts a walk from the mausoleum of Cyrus the Great (Korush e Bozorg) to the Sivan Dam through the Bolaghi Gorge. For those who have not seen this route, this is a must-see video. Nice editing and music selection too. It is dedicated to the International Committee to Save the Pasargad Plains.

Iman was born on 1976 in Tehran. He has been fascinated by the art of Painting since he was a child. At the age of 15, he started to learn painting under the mastery of his first and only teacher - Morteza Katouzian - who is the greatest realist painter of Iran. Meanwhile, he began to paint professionally. In 1999 he graduated in Graphic Design from the Art University of Tehran. Since 1998, he has participated in several exhibitions. In the year 2000, he got married and in the following year he established ARA Painting Studio and started to teach painting, considering classical and traditional values.
