Two Killed As Iranian Helicopter Crashes In South Iran

Both the pilot and co-pilot were killed when an Iranian helicopter crashed Saturday into a salt lake in the southern Iranian province of Fars, IRNA news agency reported. The helicopter was en route to recover the wreckage of another helicopter which had crashed two days earlier in the same salt lake and claimed the lives of three people, IRNA said. Both helicopters belonged to a company affiliated to Iran's oil ministry, IRNA said adding that investigations are underway to clarify the cause of the crash.
